MEDFIELD, MA. — August 6, 2009 – Designed for harsh factory floor environments, Comark’s EnduraTouch FX is ideal for wet environments where process splashing, spraying or high-pressure washdowns occur. The NEMA 4X unit is completely sealed against the elements and is corrosion resistant, constructed out of rugged, 304 stainless steel. The system is suited for applications in food & beverage production, warehouse packing and pharmaceutical processing.
Features include a 15” or 17” LCD with optional resistive touchscreen or poly-carbonate shield, Celeron & Pentium M, Atom or Core2Duo Processing power, system memory up to 4GB, high temperature hard drives, solid state flash drives, on-screen keyboards and multiple mounting options. The front access design allows for quick and easy access to the computer’s components, a low MTTR, and implementation flexibility.
As a companion to the EnduraTouch line, Comark has also introduced a stainless steel, NEMA 4X printer enclosure. The new enclosure is compatible with most industrial label printers (Sato, Datamax, Zebra, etc…) and can be mounted to a wall or within a production line. The unique slanted roof is ideal for washdown environments.
