In this critical role, Kichloo will assist Avnet’s growing number of customers seeking cross-regional support for design- and manufacturing-based activities. Kichloo is a 28-year veteran of the electronics industry, spending the past 15 years at Avnet. Kichloo adds this area of responsibility to his existing role as senior vice president of global semiconductor business development, where he manages worldwide semiconductor manufacturer relationships for Avnet. CDW announced today that Thomas E. Richards will succeed John A. Edwardson as chief executive officer of the company on Oct. 1, 2011.
