LEOLA, PA – After 30 years of innovations, Clean Burn, the world leader in used-oil heating systems, continues its tradition of excellence with the introduction of a new CB-3250 low profile used-oil furnace.

UL listed for use as a unit heater or central (ducted) furnace, the CB-3250 is ideal for facilities with limited ceiling heights. Designed for the flexibility of being able to ceiling mount, the unit joins the low profile family of the CB-1750 and the CB-2500. The new CB-3250 can recycle 2.1 gallons of used motor oil per hour and is rated at approximately 325,000 BTUs per hour.

“We’ve designed and introduced this new low profile used-oil furnace at the direct request of customers looking for ceiling mounted options with higher recycling capabilities,” says Michael Shirk, president and CEO of Clean Burn. “At just 35 inches high and 121 inches long, the CB-3250 is ideal for areas needing maximum output of heated air from recycled used-oil. This product complies with all EPA regulations and serves as an efficient and reliable environmentally-friendly product for operations producing a significant amount of used motor oils.”

As with all Clean Burn products, the CB-3250 has superior pumping systems that allow the unit to potentially pump oil up to 300 feet with minimum -40 Fahrenheit oil temperature, including drawing oil stored in outdoor tanks. The highly efficient furnace system includes in-line washable oil filter for easy maintenance, along with a vacuum gauge for the filter, wall thermostat, check valve, tank filter, barometric damper, oil line fittings and an oil supply pump. The comprehensive system is available throughout North America.

“With 30 years of experience behind us, we’re not resting,” says Shirk. “We continue to respond to our customers’ needs and develop new products that provide them with a high return on their investment. The CB-3250 is just our latest example of how Clean Burn works both with and for our customers.”

There are 80,000 Clean Burn functional furnaces and boilers located throughout the world that burn used-oil each year on-site, at the point of generation. This volume of used-oil would otherwise be transported on highway systems and pose a considerable risk to spills and/or contamination to the environment.

Clean Burn is an ENERGY STAR® partner. The company holds numerous industry certifications and works with the U.S. government, the Environmental Protection Agency and various associations to help coordinate the establishment of standards and regulations related to heat recovery and recycling efforts involving used motor oils.
