Sunnyvale, California – June 9, 2009 – Magic Power Technology Inc. introduces the MPD-807H, a compact DC-DC ATX compatible power supply. MPD-807H can generate up to 100W with 8.6CFM forced air-cooling or up to 70W under convection cooling. The dimensions of this device are 81mm x 128mm x 40mm, and it utilizes a thermally efficient aluminum chassis to help dissipate heat. The open frame design of this DC-DC converter allows for no noise, a higher MTBF, and reduced dust. Furthermore, it has the same ultra compact form factor as the popular MPI-806H, and can be used with 1U applications.

MPD-807H operates over a wide 9 to 32 VDC input range, and provides overload and over voltage protection. This gives this converter the flexibility to be used in both 12V and 24V applications such as vehicle and industrial automation systems. MPD-807H has power good/power fail signal, +5V standby, as well as a remote power on/off switch. MPD-807H is rated at 50°C and derates linearly by 2.5% per degree C to 50% capacity at 70°C, and has a MTBF value greater than 130,000 hours. This makes MPD-807H a cost effective, reliable solution for high-end industrial and IT applications. A 2-year warranty comes standard with MPD-807H.
