The new Car Securer Light 3.00 (CSL-3.00) concept, designed and manufactured by Media Systems Ltd, is specially created to meet the complex requirements of telematics projects and to provide system integrators and service providers with a power tool for creating big variety of state-of-the-art Security, tracking and location-based solutions and services.
The CSL-3.00 concept is based on the bullet-proofed long-term field experience of the Personal Securer 5.00 core. Using an innovative combination of hardware, embedded software, RF and mechanical design features the CSL-3.00 device is addressing all the needs of high-volume, reliable and cost efficient telematic systems.
The hardware backbone contains tri-band GSM/GPRS engine, high-sensitive low-power GPS core, 3D-motion sensor, ARM7TDMI CPU core with data logging and extended power management capabilities, watchdog and protection circuitry, automotive compliant power supply and LiIon battery backup. Two analogue and four digital inputs, four digital outputs, RS232, USB and audio interfaces are defining the connectivity capabilites of the device.
The hardware layer components are supported by comprehensive standard configureable embedded firmware layer. Using easy to understand script like command framework, system integrators can define all relevant operation parameters of the CSL-3.00. The standard software layer allows local and/or remote (OTA) configuration of
- special operating modes,
- firmware update,
- data logging, alarm and tracking conditions and reports,
- all communication channel parameters (UDP, TCP/IP, HTTP, FTP, eMail, SMS, Data, DTMF, Audio),
- extended power management parameters,
- geo-fencing conditions,
- all I/OS.
Build-in comprehensive software watchdog and recovery functionality enables the reliable operation of the system under harsh automotive conditions.
