iPOS3602 (36 V, 2 A, 75 W) is a complete motion control and drive solution packed on only 21 x 54 mm of PCB space. It integrates all the basic motor control functions, motion control and PLC features on a remarkably small-sized plug-in module. Equipped with CAN / CANopen interfaces (optionally, additional EtherCAT interface also available), the iPOS drive controls any rotary or linear brushless, DC brush or step motor.

IDM680 is a new Technosoft intelligent servo drive equipped with EtherCAT communication interface. Besides EtherCAT, this high-performance servo drive embeds motion controller, drive and PLC functionality into a single compact unit. IDM680 can operate either as a standard EtherCAT slave using a CANopen over EtherCAT (CoE) protocol, or it can be programmed to execute complex motion programs directly at drive level, using the built-in motion controller and the EasyMotion Studio platform.

ISD860 is a flexible intelligent drive specially developed for motion applications that need cost-optimized design, embedded intelligence, networking possibilities and high servo performance control. ISD860 is able to drive 12 A continuous and 31 A peak currents at a supply voltage ranging from 12 to 72 VDC with a PWM of 20 kHz frequency. The drive embeds motion controller, drive and PLC functionality in one unit (size: 136 x 84x 26 mm) and controls brushless, DC or linear motors up to 860 W continuous / 2.2 kW peak. Thanks to its advanced motion control algorithms, a precise control of position, speed or torque over a wide range of dynamic conditions can be achieved.

PIM3605 is a new, pluggable intelligent minidrive particularly adapted for motion control applications where space is critical. Manufactured with simple pins, the drive has an architecture that allows for faster assembly and installation, letting the user insert the drive in seconds. Its miniature size & weight (67 x 43 x 20 mm, 27 g) allows it to be placed inside the machine or near the motor. The drive controls brushless, DC, linear or step motors up to 180 W (36 V, 5 A) continuous and 600 W (36 V, 16 A) peak power.

The new TML_LIB_X20 Motion Control Library embeds the Technosoft drives’ intelligence into a B&R PLC environment. The library is a collection of high-level functions and blocks allowing the control of the Technosoft intelligent drives from a B&R PLC. All library functions have been designed using the guidelines described in the PLC standards for motion control, so they can be integrated on any development platform that is IEC-61131-3 compliant.

ISD720 embeds motion controller, drive and PLC functionality in the same open-frame unit (size: 136 x 84 x 26 mm). With convenient compact dimensions and 20 A continuous / 49.5 A peak current ratings, ISD720 combines high-level motion control functions with a cost-optimized design. The drive is a flexible solution, particularly adapted for distributed and coordinated control of brushless, DC or linear motors up to 720 W. It accepts incremental quadrature encoders and digital Halls as position feedbacks.

IBL3605 is a remarkably compact intelligent servo drive which embeds motion controller, drive and PLC functionality in one unit and has the flexibility to control brushless, step, DC or linear motors up to 180 W (36 V, 5 A). It can be mounted right beside the motor, all cables and maintenance thus being significantly reduced.

Technosoft is pleased to offer the new 3 kW intelligent servo drive that embeds motion controller, drive and PLC functionalities in the same unit. Based on the MotionChipTM technology, IDM3000 is specially designed for servo applications requiring high peak torque, dynamic response and flexible integration features. It can be used to control brushless, induction, and DC motors up to 3 kW. IDM3000 drives 10 A continuous and 30 A peak currents, at a supply voltage ranging from 160 to 325 V.

PIM2401, the new Technosoft intelligent plug-in minidrive, is specially designed for motion control applications where space is dramatically limited. PIM’s miniature size (39×44x14 mm, 15 g weight) allows it to be mounted horizontally or vertically inside the machine or near the motor. The drive is manufactured with simple pins; this architecture reduces the time needed to assemble it. PIM2401 controls DC, brushless, linear and step motors up to 25 W (24 V, 1 A).

All Technosoft intelligent drives and motors now support CANopen. Embedding motion control, drive and PLC functionalities in a single compact unit they cover all type of brushless, DC, linear or step motor applications from 25 W (45 V, 0.5 A) up to 3 kW (325 V, 10 A). The motors (brushless and stepping) integrate power electronics, controller, position sensor and interface in one compact unit with basic local digital and analog[] I/O signals. These new generations of Technosoft products offer the powerful CANopen communication option for motion automation builders that use the CANopen DSP[] 402 standard. Thanks to local intelligence based on TML programming, the user can really simplify complex applications, by distributing the intelligence between master and drives. Thus, instead of trying to command each step of an axis movement from the master, they can program the drives / motors using TML to execute complex tasks, and inform the master when these tasks have been completed.
